Shouldn't we have an update on the last bargaining session...last week? Or perhaps the BOT meeting earlier this week?
We faculty members who pay $500 annually (plus/minus) should be a little more informed about what's going on, don't you think?

Yes, everyone should have an update. Maybe Charlotte will do that next week.

The PJCFA President, Senators, several bargaining team members, and 2 state committee members gave up their weekend to attend the State UFF Senate meeting. Some spent their breaks between meetings to work on the Bargaining Update. This should be out shortly.

The BOT meeting and Bargaining Sessions are open to the public and we need to show up to support our team. This is our association. Get involved!

A bargaining update should be appearing in your mailbox soon. Please remember that members of the Bargaining Team are unpaid for their services. They, too, pay union dues and work for free. Currently, no one is receiving release time for bargaining. Furthermore, the best way to know what happened at bargaining is to attend each session! There were close to ten faculty members at the last session. Your attendance helps send a message to the administration that faculty are concerned about what's going on with negotiations. It also ensures that you will be well informed.
